I was so excited to see all of the participation in this prompt!

For those who are just tuning in now, here is the official challenge:

I have collected the responses that I’m aware of, including from a few people who were so efficient in rising to this challenge that they predicted this moment would come and wrote an amazing response to my prompt before I even wrote it!

If I missed anyone or any stories, please shout at me in the comments so that I can clap and add you.

If you are late to the party, shout at me anyway and insist that I add you with honors in spite of your unabashed tardiness.

I have read and verified that all of these stories were fantastic reads, as expected!

I encourage my fellow challengers to read and clap/comment for as many of your writing peers as you can. This has been a lot of fun! I’m enjoying getting to know my fellow community members.

In the comments here, I encourage the authors to reveal their secrets.

What stories were true and unbelievable? What stories were ruthless lies meant merely to tug on our unsuspecting heartstrings?

  1. Here were the three moving stories presented by Jenny Starr✨.

Jenny added a follow up post with reflections and information about the stories:

2. These were the fast-paced additions of 💜 Victoria Quinn 💜.

Victoria added this follow up post spilling the beans on what was true and what was false:

3. These were Christine Penn’s great stories:

Christine has also already beaten us all to the punch with an official reveal!

4. Nova Grace had some fascinating character studies to offer us as well.

5. I really enjoyed reading The Wordsmith™🏳️‍🌈🇺🇸’s delightful contributions.

6. locke besse provided the following tales informed by some interesting lived experiences.

7. Kitty Whitemore had some wonderful stories as well:

8. Last, but not least, I have offered my own responses, as well:

I hope you enjoyed!
